I've actually been quite impressed with some of the tv shows over the past few years
Now most new movies pretty much suck IMO but while there are a lot of awful TV shows these days there have been a few that were very good.

There have been a lot of good shows lately. Breaking bad, The Newsroom, Nurse Jackie(well that one started off well and has gone downhill a bit), just to name a few.
But as long as you seek out shows instead of just letting the TV feed you whatever is on, then it's not bad at all.

I don't have cable (except during football season ofc), but I do netflix, torrent, or stream many different TV shows that I enjoy.
I just finished Game of Thrones and am currently flying through The Office.

Idk if any of you guys ever watched Bored to Death but I loved that show and am really disappointed it was canceled. I've read they're making a movie based on it so hopefully that will be as good as the show.
