I just got my card and I am eager to grow! Could someone help me with an easy set up method/suggest a good starting strain?

Welcome to the growery 
Before we can give any advice you need to decide on some stuff:
Soil, soilless mix or hydro?
How big of a space do you have?
How much are you planning to yield? Or what's your budget (if u want as much as possible)?
Do you like a heady high or a couch lock body buzz?
How much experience do you have with cultivating thangs?
The catch is, to answer these questions you will need to do some research first. I personally think the main site (not forum) here is a great base if you want a 101 course in growing mj, but there are some books that are more helpful.

There's a cervantes book on there...I can't stand the guy but his grow guides are good enough for a total beginner.
