I got the FF nutrient trio and it has a feeding schedule pretty well planned out from seedling to harvest. Would it be wise to follow it directly or should I still implement the quarter strength logic and work up? I am a newb.

I only have sprouting seeds and am using FFOF, so I'm not feeding yet just wanna get an idea on whether I should cut back on the dosage or go as directed.

well right now if they just sprouted you don't need to use any extra nutrients, Pluse if you are using ffof soil that has nutrients in it that will be good for about a month . So just leave them be for a month or so cause if u start adding stuff now it will kill the plants.
but after a month or so when u start to add nutrients u start with less then what it say and get a feel for how the plans react. about 1/4 to 1/3 I would guess be a safe place to start.
as I stated im still new and learning but from what I have read so far this is how I would go about it. But lets wait for the people who have more experience then I do to jump in and give there 2 cents

If they are growing steadily and look healthy, I wouldn't give them anything until they tell you that they need it.

Yeah, I know the soil has food in it and I don't plan on feeding until necessary I was just wondering if anyone has experience with this line of nutes and if it would be wise to use as directed or start at quarter strength and adjust accordingly. Probably the former as what I've been reading?

Theres a month worth of nutes in ffof. First feeding should be half strength at least, and if you're new to the strain, wait for a little bit of a deficiency before feeding. the leaves will be a lighter shade of green.

Nope, you're the first one to use it
Just joking with you man...a fast google search will yield all you're looking for and more.
From the other threads I've seen on this subject, most advise to start at a lower strength and work your way up as/if necessary.
I was just saying, in general, wait until your plant tells you it needs something. Then, whatever you're feeding it, start with a mild concentration and just see how the plant reacts.

Gotcha, I am in the stage of being an overthinking newb at this point I think, lol.
