 Animal Collective

So I have been a deadhead for a long time, I like any type of music as long as its experimental (the reason I love the dead), but I have recently been shown Animal Collective and I love it.
I am listening to "My Girls" now which has awesome lyrics because that is how my life is going at the moment, I want a simple life for my family and my woman wants a material life, we might end it soon, seriously  oh well.
Anyways I love this band and other experimental music, does anyone else know some good bands that are similar to Animal Collective? I think there's one called Panda, but I am listening to so many different genres of music it all rolls into one ya know!!!
Lots of happy hardcore, hard trance, jam bands, experimental music, etc.

It's become undeniable. If you want to listen to what's probably the best thing going on in today's pop music you need to spend some time with this band.
