My dad used to love these, but then they were banned for a while.
I went into a head shop the other day and saw a pack, I guess they are labeled different as cigars to make them legal, but I got some and I love them. The crackle is nice.
I don't know how much different they are now, but I had to just buy one pack to try them since I remember my father smoking them and talking about how they were what he used to smoke in his younger years.
I also bought these, Magic 25 cigarette filter/holder.
They are like what Hunter Thompson used to use, but not the same brand.

yeah i get those filters sometimes, but i also used to have a nice wooden one that made me feel like Thompson. However i'm pretty sure thompson smoked menthols, ah and dunhills.

You are right about that sir, I was just saying whenever I use a filter or holder on any cigarette and can bite down on it I feel
Thompson esque.
Anyway I just smoked a bowl and feeling real high.
I wanna smoke some menthol dunhills when I have some extra cash to get an idea of what he liked .

They arent even that expensive, I get dunhill's for 8 bucks a pack, all the regulars are like 6.50... I dont mind paying an extra 1.50 for much better quality smokes. The difference is ridic

I think i can get the 5-6$ a pack, as well as nat shermans. Which are also noticeably of a higher quality.
The drive i have to make to get them though, is somewhat out of the way.

I liked the Djarums before they were banned, they were pretty much the same but I'm pretty sure they were less heavy, since they were still considered cigarettes and weren't rebranded as little cigars. I bought a pack of Djarums when I saw they found a way around the ban, but it didn't seem the same.

i say if you're going to kill yourself via tobacco, do it however it is most pleasurable to you. Even if your preference is black n milds or american spirits.
Me, i find turkish royals/golds to be the most bomb way to roll.
