i've never really had good luck with Torch.

SP and Bridgesii, on the other hand, have always been a blast.

SP plus an encapsulated Rue extract was one of my strongest trips so far. Well, and pots. I smoked lots of pots throughout.

the only extracts I've done with cactus were with water and lime juice (i'm pretty sure i made a thread on shroomery as i was doing it). otherwise, i actually prefer to just buy the chips and eat them. eating them dry with a sip of water every now and again is a lot more bearable than drinking slimy extract IMO.

I mainly only use acidified-water extracts on MAOi's, like S. Rue and B. Caapi, however. With the Caapi I just drank the liquid. it was bearable. With Rue I dried the extract and encapsulated it. 1 capsule was enough to get the job done.

ya ive dosed cactus like 40 times.

-tea tastes gross. but works

-iso extract turn weak (i was takin doses that were equal to 100 gms dry with minimal effects)

-eatin chips (with rue) is deff my fav method. just moisten em so u dont choke.

i read its pretty safe on a erowid and a few fourms. you wouldnt want to dose to high on both tho

But i did have a 3 hours headache on this combo once. but i figured it was becuase i was smoking cigars all night :crazy2:

Taking certain MAOi's with tyramine can be dangerous. Harmine and Harmaline aren't among them, though. They're reversible and selective, which means they only inhibit very specific MAOs so tyramine can still be broken down by other MAOs and they only do it for a short period of time. Otherwise, simply drinking coffee and smoking tobacco would also be dangerous in combination with foods that contain tyramine (like cheese).

The general consensus seems to be that you're just supposed to avoid irreversible (often prescription) MAOi's since they tend to last longer (days to weeks) and inhibit nearly all MAOs.

a common dose for mescaline is around 200mg. The Ld50 in mice and rats is somewhere 100-200mg per kilogram. an average human could probably take 10x the common dose and still be physically safe.

I would be careful with the combo due to cacti containing other sympathomimetic amines.
There are a plethora of alkaloids in cactus. Mescaline HCl and a RIMA is one thing, but combining
a RIMA with cacti is another, and it's potentially dangerous.

Going outside is potentially dangerous as well.

Driving a car is dangerous too.

Pretty much all drugs are potentially dangerous, and in a bunch of different ways. The question here is if these combinations pose any immediate physical danger from simply consuming them.

Speaking personally, I've never experienced any type of serotonin syndrome or uncomfortable comedown with any of these combinations, including the times I've taken Bridgesii itself... which supposedly, has MAOi's already in it.

I'd be pretty confident in saying that harmine and harmaline are fine with mescaline cactus, or at least, the ones I've tried (San Pedro, Peruvian Torch and Bridgesii).

Most trip reports I've read on the internet seem to indicate the same.
