i've got a few tubs of PES Amazonian fruiting right now :smile: i should be harvesting mid week. i cant wait to eat a good dose, ive been taking mostly LSD over the past 5 years.

you dont need a fan or a light for your mushrooms. once your mycelium is established, its contaminant resistant. if your tubs get contaminated later down the line, it was contaminate from the beginning. it wasnt your spawn.

just put your tubs by a window and let them get a little sunlight. they dont need direct light or anything, just in a room with light. fan them off throughout the day with your hand or something. use the lid of another tub (dry, not with condensation on it) to fan it off.

For the most part. But believing that it is fully contaminate resistant is silly. if your tubs get contaminated later down the line, it was contaminate from the beginning. it wasnt your spawn.
There are millions of types of bacteria, some that we can't even see. Your substrate prep and grain prep could be flawless, but if you spawn using unsterile practices, you are almost doomed for failure.

I hate misting and I hate fanning. I pull ~12oz per tub and never mist or fan.

40 tubs was my last project that spanned from 3/23 to 5/21.

I didn't say you didn't know what you are talking about, but you are speaking very subjectively. Like there is only one way do things...

How is this quote not a cocky ego?
You guarantee that if you get a contam later down the line, it wasn't the spawn? That is impressive as hell being able to see every single grow of every viewer who reads that post.
The opening sentence claims:

New to the gorwery or not, I'm damn sure not a noob to mush and I damn sure don't want misinformation being presented about mushroom cultivation. I realize you feel accomplished because you have done 60+ tubs, but you are still fanning man and my yields are (probably) better with less work.

1) you dont need a fan in the room where your tubs are. especially an inline fan.

2) once mycelium is fully colonized, it is contaminant resistant (for the most part) but nothing is ever 100% contaminant resistant, so to assume that's what i meant isn't too bright on your end.

3) i've used T5 grow bulbs, normal daylight fluoros, and just sitting in my kitchen getting whatever sun light makes it through the windows. so yea, you dont really NEED a light if you live in a house with windows in a part of the world that gets sun light... i have 3 tubs in my kitchen right now, and 3 more to be fruited. the only light i need is what comes in the windows.

4) you dont need a fan, just fan them off by hand with another tub lid. is that more clear for you?

i dont see why you have to nit pick so god damn much. dont bring your ego online. its ridiculous.

if i didnt explain myself in some post up to your standards, forgive me. i'm a medical patient who takes marinol twice a day and smokes constantly. so give me a break.

i dont mean to step on anyones toes but if anyone is looking for accurate  info on growing cubensis just go over to shroomery.org. A lot of people have grown mushrooms. Everyone has an opioion. leave it at that

But don't you guys recognise the hostility? tim is probably fresh out of the shroomery, where everyone's claws are out at all times lol, prolly why he got so offended.. Idk, when I was on Shroomery all day I started seeing most things I heard as sarcastic remarks aimed at me  :youdidit:

And eeh, thanks for the help but im not new or anything. What I meant is that before I started my mj grow, I had a room I used only for mycology. Always closed windows, door; and pretty much empty. Every time I spawned or innoculated, I just washed the walls w/ bleach water and emptied out a can of Lysol in there.Now I got a 240cfm fan blowing air (and contaminants) around that room 24/7, plus I can only spray a little and still at the risk of hurting my plants.
so yes, once colonization is done, it's pretty resistant. But durring the spawning process anything can just fly in.

P.S. 99¢ store keychain flashlights work perfectly well for lighting. I just tape one right on top so the button is always pressed. Usually lasts 2-3 weeks, 12 hours a day

How many tabs did you drop? Any idea of the mcg content?
How was it compared to your mushroom experiences?
I find LSD to be much more energetic than mushrooms.
Mushrooms are more natural and organic, one with the world.
Acid is more like dissecting the universe.

Next you should try DMT. It blows both LSD and mushrooms away, IMHO.
My next goal is to try DMT while on some other psychedelic like mushrooms or acid, if I'm ever lucky enough to have both at the same time.

Hope you enjoyed it, i've tripped on acid 3 times. Amazing to say the least, even when my trips got bad. Have tripped on mushrooms maybe 4 or 5.

Off topic:
i haven't ever grown mono-tub, only PF tek with a SGFC, and my yield was not satisfactory. Once i get a pressure cooker though, gonna definitely make a tub. How would you not need misting or fanning? IF i wouldn't have misted or fanned my FC i would've had hardly any yield. And light? light is important as fuck, and helps a lot. But whoever said that is right, ambient day light from a window is fine.
