Hi all,
Long time no see. I recently had a monotub contaminate early on me, and was wondering if I could re-use the semi-colonized coco as a grow medium for marijuana?
I've read a lot about growing in coco, and was wondering if I could recycle what I would normally throw out.
Any info/tips/comments would be of tremendous help!

don't think i'd use it. if it contamed on ya there's prolly some funky mold in there. wouldn't want your roots rotting on ya

Yea i think I will stick with my FFOF and Pro-mix BX.

When I was on the shroomery I read in a thread that trichoderma is a very useful mold for growing in soil. I had heavy trich in my last SGFC and reused the hydroton granules in it for my soilless mix. Which means there were only spores on it, no mycelium. Darling is fine but I'd surely not go and mix some contam'd substrate right in my medium. You don't know if it is healthy to the plant or not if you don't know what it is man.

There are many different types of "Trich". Not all are beneficial man.
