There's certainly no reason a marijuana site shouldnt succeed.
We just need more publicity and web advertising.

So would ya mind talking to them about this then. I'd like to get this place a more active, as I'm sure they would as well. I'm willing to pay for the stickers and distribute them.
Maybe you can talk to geokills and ythan, see if we can get some support for this.

Like I'm saying, nothing brings in new people like a contest. I feel like since everyone else is hopping on here, I'd be happy to donate a glass spoon, or something grow related...I dunno yet to a contest for newbies. Maybe best grow log, something like that.
Something long term that will convince people to stick around and keep posting to win something. I feel like we're cool enough people that if someone were posting here for the duration of an entire grow log, they'd be hooked.

If you get the thumbs up on that and some other people getting into it, I'd be happy to post send some messages around the interbutts and go to the smoke shop to see what I could pick up for someone for a prize today.

Or even a monthly/bi-monthly thing...who can make the coolest homemade bong, who can take the craziest hit and video it, who can roll the coolest spliff, etc etc etc.
But there'd need to be people willing to donate. I'm a broke as fuck average joe lol. But its spring time and thats the best time to do it imo.

We'd need some prize donations to pull this off.
I'd like to have a couple in fact tho I'd prefer them being more grow related info type of thing.
We already have a grow log of the year thread a waiting numinations.

A great way to get people to stop by here is invite all your friends, and mentors from other grow sites.

I actually just invited a few friends from another site...I try to be careful who I invite here, because we have such a nice group of really intelligent grow people. Many other sites are full of misinformation. I know I can come here and get a real answer...even if it takes a bit longer.
Not many people here are talking out of their asses like tend to be on other sites.

I'd be willing to buy Indoor Marijuana Horticulture and put that up as a prize. I like the contest idea, but without traffic here then there isn't much point to having a contest.
Now the sticker contest is totally different.

Active posting is down a little, but always is this time of year.
Active traffic however is up.
You'd be surprised in how many would come clawing out of the floor boards of this place if a contest popped up.
I bet if a cash prize was offered for the sticker design, people would contribute.
Wait not a bed idea.

I cant help out with money, but I can certainly slap up some stickers at the 2 big campuses near me. ASU is the largest university in the entire country, or maybe #2 but throwing up stickers around campus could really draw in some good quality people
The other university is smaller but still decent sized.
So I can help with the advertising where needed....there's 60,000 students at ASU alone.
edit- Yeah, we definitely need to do something to get a new batch of people in here. This place is dying. At this rate by the next 4/20 (the 5 year anniversary) this site will be completely obsolete. I am hoping there are enough of us here that are dedicated to keeping it alive but it seems we rarely get new blood, and we lose a "veteran," posters more quickly than we can even recruit.
