So I took the plunge and ordered some of the Original Grand Daddy Purple by Granddaddy Purple Seeds from attitude! Very excited! I know I hear purple strains are more so looks then potency comparable to other strains but I Have been wanting to grow something dark purple forever! I have honestly only had something purple in very small quantity maybe twice in my life. I have also read tons of threads how GDP was usually a clone only strain. Though attitude came up with some seeds so I thought I take them up on the b day promo! Order the GDP and get a ton of others for free! Ordered the GDP and got 8 other strains for free! Pretty excited about the free White widow and og kush #18. I will be sure to put up a log on the GDP for any others interested.

I feel ya on wanting the purple. If it works out well for you, I might check it out too. Sure its a novelty...but when you're growing same looking plants for so long, its nice to toss in some variety. Even if it is only a novelty, its a fun change :]

Well whoever said purple strains are low on potency is a idiot. Try and tell people that have tried Purple Kush, or Purple Erkle that it's not potent.
As far as the seeds from Ken (Owner of Granddaddy Purple Seeds) yeah it's usually a clone only strain but since he's the original breeder of the strain they are the only place anybody who wants GDP seeds should get them.
If you want clones here is the best source on the planet.

Thanks for the tip, but I doubt he'd be willing to ship to a non med state 
Maybe I could get a PO box somewhere and have it rerouted, but the clone would prolly die in the process.

I get various fresh cuttings (of ornamental plants) shipped through USPS all the time, and the majority are much more delicate than MJ

Yeah I've shipped them before but you're never gonna get a med club to do it even within the state.
