I'm told AK -48 is just a 48 day flowering cycle, is this true? And does anyone have any photos of it by chance?

7 to 9 weeks is what the breeder says.

Just my 2 cents, I had a friend who ran some of these and it was the most "OK" homegrown I've ever had. It had a mild flavor and a mild high, but I seem to remember him telling me it had a wicked yield and really dense buds.
Not that it was "bad" in any way, just saying it doesn't stick out in my minds strain bank hahaa.

Did you ever think it was the results of the skills of the grower.
Magash ran some a while back, he spoke well of it, and mentioned finding one which had more purple than his current grand daddy purple.
I'll be running some in the near future myself, and of course will report my experiences with it.
If it's anything like their Ice, I'll be happy indeed.

And I had to go all the way to cali to get them.

Yeah I've been keeping a cycle of AK-48 clones for the past 6 months or so. I got clones locally though and wanted to make sure they were legit. They look just about identical. And my skills are still being honed but the buds have always been dense as fuck. I run cfls by the by also.

Of course. And he only did a few seeds too, so he might just not have found the winning pheno.
I'm pretty confident in his growing skills, hes always had very good results. Just sayin' that particular strain didn't stand out while smoking (but the yield was awesome).

Well first off thanks for all the comments guys very cool of ya.
I'm happy to pass out anything I know I don't keep no secrets and I'll answer every pm I get and I welcome them. I say if ya can't answer people's questions then ya shouldn't be a mod.
and last I don't in anyway think I'm a better grower then anybody else here. The only difference is I've been under the lights since 1985 so I've had some time to pick up a few things and like I said I'm happy to hand out anything I know.
One more thing I won't answer any question if I haven't actually done it. Just reading the answer from a book or some other site won't do I have to have done it sometime in my past or I'll straight up tell ya I can't answer the question and I've done that many times.
Example I don't answer shit about autoflowers cause I'm just now (thank you Curbstop) starting to work with them. (Auto Man Eater and Auto Sweet 16 are just calling out to me).
and Stoneth you don't have that much longer to wait for the Sweet 16 I'm back up and running again cause the chemo treatments are done

The real potential of autos is the outdoor IMO. People always forget that. If you start your plants indoors and have them out on Memorial Day (frost date here) you can have a harvest by the 4th of July.
Long before anyones looking to steal your plants, long before anyone is even LOOKING for your plants, ya know?
That, and you'll have a ton of summer time smoke haha.
I'm scrambling as best as I can to get some auto seeds going. I've never seeded a plant before so I'm learning that slowly and working on some fems too

Yeah Doc will be the man. I've known him since he had a little bong shop in Essex England. (I think he still has that shop actually).
I released some seeds, cuttings and other stuff in the Palm Springs area earlier this week (nobody supplies this area).

I have a few in mind but haven't fully settled on one. I usually just go with MagMan seeds but half the places put them in their own packages and just put the name Magash on there someplace or show the Magash name in the display and sell the seeds one at a time.
I've sold seeds under the name Emerald Assassin Seeds also. Emerald Assassin was one of my first strains that I no longer sell but just use in breeding. The strain has the highest trich count of any of my strains but smokes harsh as hell. So I use it to raise the trich count on strains or grow out souly for the purpose of making hash and oil.
