Do you think our crops would get widely pollinated?

Depends on where you live.
If you answer "farm country" and you grow outdoors, then certainly.

I was just thinking about it the other day. It would be a strange turn of events if hemp were legalized (in the US) and widely grown only to cross pollinate the potent strains possibly increasing the cost of buying a decent sack.

A lot of small-mid grows are indoors these days for security reasons and possibly climate (year-round production).
I think large grows happen on public land, amidst corn fields, and indoor midwest production.
Probably wouldn't happen like that, but you can't grow them together, which people who don't know hemp from schwag might think.
