From using non-pasteurized soil? It was stored in a thick sealed garbage bag for at least 2 or 3 months. So yeah, do you think I could still get parasites? I CAN pasteurize it, but it will be a huge hassle, and it's kind of a "last resort" type thing.
Use preventative measurements. It wouldn't hurt to add cayenne pepper in or on top of your soil. There are many chemical free ways to deal with any issues that may arise. Even starting with 'good' soil, you may end up having a problem. Cleanliness and preventative is the way to go.
