You need to locate the correct I/O port for the device and modify it.

I think he meant my videocards.  It's pretty easy, catalyst controllers provide an OCing option (though I use RivaTuner personally).  :smile:

Overclocking really isnt that hard if you know what you're doing and it depends what you're doing. Pin modding an E6600 might be risky and difficult or putting new caps on your X-fi card, but bumping a graphic card a few mhz is as simple as clicking in CCC. If you do it without thinking you'll probably get unstable results, but even breaking a computer has become quite difficult.

But seriously for all your oc'ing need ocforums.com All the info on overclocking in the world. My brother has 2 3870btw in crossfire. Might clock his, don't need to yet.

I'm part of xtremesystems and extremOC, i'm too lazy to sign up for more forums, hehe :wink:  Yeah but so far most stable results are around 890MHz
