I'll give you a few examples, Firefly, Futurama, The Lone Gunmen, and Terminator the Sarah Conner Chronicles was pretty good wasn't it?

Don't forget King of the Hill. It was the highest it had ever been rated and they replaced it with the Cleaveland Show.

Yeah I used to love Family Guy. After so long its just gotten old to me. Same jokes week in and week out and same premises too. When it came out I refused to watch the Cleveland show altogether. I hate to judge a book by its cover and I dunno maybe it was a funny show but I just didn't find the teasers funny at all.
King of the Hill on the other hand had a pretty damn long run for a show I don't remember anyone ever talking about.
But fox tends to pick up shows and drop them immediately without giving them much of a chance to succeed. I mean their faces must have been red when both Futurama and Family Guy got picked up again. In Futurama's case I tuned in almost every week. But Futurama had kind of a long run for a show that got cancelled. Shit Firefly had only 14 episodes and Lone Gunmen(which I also watched) had the same number. And yet they picked up that Brothers show. Seriously what were they thinking. Fox's motto should be "Ya gotta show no one else will touch? We'll produce it and then quickly drop it."
Currently their entire lineup consists of adult themed cartoons and reality shows. Goddamn wasn't this the network that brought us Married With Children, The X-Files, and the Simpsons?

fox... i never seem to watch it anymore
seem to only watch around adult swim time, and if its past 9, my tv's either on comedy central or adult swim
