I will likely go to pick it up the day after christmas or something. I have been looking forward to this game for awhile

I'm highly skeptical. They tricked before with a SW MMO when I was a lad.
It is hard for me to get excited about MMO's these days.

Ive been watching all the trailers of screen play and hearing feedback from beta testers that all say it's pretty fucking awesome

LOL. Dude, it is good to be optimistic, but my years as a nerd has taught me that you should never expect "pure gold" from a first release of any software, especially a MMO.
You get Bronze or Silver, and the company will be releasing patches and updates, nerfs and fixes, etc. If it can get through that stage without becoming a worse game, then it is gold.
I'm gonna play Diablo 3 first because Blizzard > EA when it comes to MMO development.

I'll be getting it like 6 or 8 months later. It's just like Dungeness said, if you don't mind dealing with glitches and all the bs that comes along with a new release mmo. Then all the power to ya.
But yeah I'm really looking forward to this though. Since I passed on galaxies years ago.

you guys dont think they will work most everything out through beta testing? I have never started playing an mmo right at release so I really have no experience with how they function

I got a pass to do beta testing over Thanksgiving weekend

I'm gonna wait a bit after the game is out to get it. Bugs and glitches are cunts that I hate dealing with 
Plus I gotta save the cash for some other games and a new 360

I am not too worried about bugs and glitches. They have been doing a shitton of testing and what not. I am sure there will still be some but we'll see
This next weekend should give us a decent idea of what to expect
I am pretty sure I will log 24 hours easily over the weekend

I say that and then their site is having all kinds of issues today when I am trying to install the game for the testing weekend.
