Is this a normal thing? I'm not really too experienced in tripping. Had some fun shit happen but never have been able to fully control them.
I had the normal kaleidoscope thing going on, but instead of just being patterns, there were shapes of recognizable objects, and if I thought of something I could change it to my will.
I could make skulls, pot leafs, faces, cats, smurfs, anything. It wasn't full detail or anything, just a neon outline, but damn it was cool being able to change shit like that.
And then I almost got skunked. I was like 2 feet away from a skunk

Mckenna talks about controlling his hallucinations so I'd say it's possible
the best I've been able to manage was to change the channel or to look at them from different angles but I've also never tried to do more with them

I'd say it's a just another hallucination, and that you only think you're controlling your hallucination....... one of those chicken or the egg scenarios.

Oh shit wow never tried it, didn't know that it causes hallucinations either. Wait come to think of it I remember a friend saying he was on "e" once laying on a bed and could swear he was floating off the bed, burning up and fearing death........ probably why I never gave it a try.
Maybe he just got bad shit.

Ya I usually do the bk-mdma but last night a friend had some molly so we just went for that. Did a bunch in a capsule and then just kept bumping up all night. I walked home at about 3:30 and the sun was just starting to come up, but I had to walk about 500 feet through the woods and it was real dark. The whole time in the dark I just had the craziest hallucinations
I was kinda coming down so I smoked a fat bowl while I was in the woods and it really brought me back up.

Yeah it is definetly possible, I have (not often) but sometimes been able to fully control my hallucinations to make it look like im at the beach, laying in bed, in outer space, the way people describe the highest levels of lucid dreaming

Thats pretty awesome. This wasn't as intense as all of that. It was just kinda like an overlay over the environment in front of me. It'd be a repeating pattern (like those hoodies that were popular a few years back) that would move in a clockwise motion.
I couldn't ignore it, but I could still look through it to see where I was going.
Another neat thing was when I'd look at lights in a window or something, I'd see red green and blue tracers of it. Kinda like when you're looking at one of those projection TVs at the wrong angle and you can see the different colors making up the picture.
