fuck, bartenders must hate me.
im paying $3 to $4 for a shot and $8.50 for a pitcher of beer, ill be damned if i give them an extra $1 per drink. thats insane. i might let him keep the 50 cents from a pitcher but fuck that if hes just handing me a beer.
how much / how many of you tip?

Dude a dollar per drink/interaction is standard. Don't be a cheapskate. Plus when bartenders learn you don't tip they will overlook you when it is busy and give you piss poor service and make any mixed drink full of fail. If they recognize that you tip well they will make the drinks strong like bull. They even will hook it up with free shit.

You have to give them a decent tip on your first of second drink so you get friendly service and so the drinks aren't watered down......... then after that fuck them.

shit i had no fucking idea lol.
well the only bar i go to really we know the dude and he is always just as drunk as we are and ends up doing shots with us and sitting at our table and shit haha. its a real shit hole its never busy. i think he just likes our company lol.
now that i know ill give him a few bucks. we always go in already trashed anyway.
im a noobie to all this legal drinking shit still lol.

I usually go to bars where I open a tab at the beginning of the night. In that situation I normally tip 20-25%. If you are just buy drinks like Tang said, 1$ per transaction is normal

hell yes you need to tip
if you want cheap liquor go to a package store and drink at home
if you're at a bar you are paying for more then the drinks

I guess its because at the bar I go to, I more or less serve myself and leave the money sitting near the register. The beers I get are just in a can or bottle in the cooler. I usually don't get draft unless I'm getting a pitcher.
I'm sure if I was paying someone to mix me things or do something fancy I'd understand better. But this place is a ghetto place for shady meth people

The bars I go to dont hire people worthy of tipping, they are so busy and full of shit heads I dont think I have ever seen someone tip
everyone gets equally shit service
