Is this ready to harvest?
    #586475 -

Hello all, I've met with some unfortunate circumstances with my lady lately. As all of you on the east coast know, we've been drenched in rain for weeks at this point.

So, I've had alot of branches snap off due to the water weight. The branches aren't frail either.. This lady is more like a tree than a plant. (12' tall, and fimmed!).. Anywhoo..

I took some pictures with a magnifying glass.. I don't have a microscope unfortunately.. I was hoping I could get some opinions on the ripeness of the buds.. I really cant tell (first timer..)'

(The plant is prob sativa dominant, and is from bagseed).

Not even close. If you're in the north east, you're looking more at Halloween as a harvest date.

How many weeks has that been flowering? It looks like 5 max to me

Of course it's happening inside your head.
Why should that mean it isn't real?

Thanks guys.. yea I figured it was too early, but those are just tiny popcorn buds on the stems.. there are much larger ones.

Now they are talking about getting our first frost in sept... ridiculous weather. :frown:

Guess I still have time to buy a microscope then..

Its really a good investment for $8. Even if you never grow again you can look at tiny stuff all the time. I use mine all the time when I'm bored and notice it on my desk

And I feel ya on the frost. I'm glad my girls are autoflowers and will be done before mid-October. The high today was like 53. Crazy for September.

Although, theres not many acorns here...so I don't think it'll be too harsh of a winter. Maybe thats just hopeful thinking...

Could you give me a link to an 8$ microscope? Would appreciate it. Looking on amazon, and the decent ones seem to be around 50$

Oh, I thought you meant one of those pocket guys...

My bad, looks like $13. I must have gotten it on sale or something.

Also, all is not lost with those branches. Dry it up and cure it, I'm sure it'll still get you medicated. If it doesn't taste so hot, you could always hashify them.

Edit: Haha, scroll down and read the review by "Bud" - "great trichome viewer. A necessity in specialty gardening." 62 out of 62 viewers found this helpful. I lol'd.

Save what you salvaged, let the rest mature, combine with trimmings from harvest, make bubble hash.

Shake the plants to remove water.
