Fox Farms Organic Trio....feeding question, please help
    #573165 - 07/19/11 11:36 AM (12 years, 8 months ago)

Hey guys, I bought these three ferts in a package deal[ http://cgi.ebay.com/Fox-Farm-Trio-Grow-Big-Big-Bloom-Tiger-Bloom-SOIL-/220793400552?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item33684fece8 ] and i know the grow big is for veg and the tiger bloom is best for flowering.....but my question pertains to the "Big Bloom" bottle.  When should i apply feeding of that in the grow cycle?  I know they are both for flowering, but whats the benefit of the big bloom and when and how often should this fert be fed to the girls?

successful grows have been accomplished without the big bloom before this....but it came with the package,so i dont wanna waste it and use it as productively as possible.

thank you all in advance for any replies, i really appreciate it

My first grow was done using the Fox Farms trio.  The soil feed schedule on their website worked really well for me - had a little Mg deficiency about halfway through the grow, but that was about it.

http://foxfarmfertilizer.com/FoxFarm-Soil-Schedule.pdf

The new schedule is a little bit different - but it appears that flowering begins in week 5.  Note that the Big Bloom is used before the Grow Big.

This new chart isn't as clear as the old one - I don't recall ever using 6 tbs of Grow Big in a watering... maybe it's tsp.

it's in tsp measurements.

I am currently using ff's complete line from liquids to solubles. I just don't have the sledge hammer. (out door grow) I'm very impressed with the results.

Ease your plants in with 1/4 or 1/2 the dosage suggested on the feeding chart. Each strain responds differently.

Fox Farm is great stuff and I've used it many times. One thing though the only thing that is organic is the soils and big bloom. The other stuff is called organic based which is different. The are made from organic sources but they are not organic.

I use the stuff, it works great!  I have never used the feeding schedule.  I should try it...
