I received this as a gift some 33 years ago.
I'd love to find another, but have no idea what it's called. Forgive me if I give information that seems too simple to point out.
It is 24" long and 3/4" in diameter.
It holds a joint at 90° to the tube, in a hole about 2-3/4" from the far end, you can see resin at the left hand side of the first pic. A few inches to the right there are colored dimples to stop the roach from shooting into your lungs. Each end is slightly rounded over, similar to a cigar.
The pictures suck, sorry.
Any ideas what it's called? Any ideas on where to find one online?

I always thought a steam roller was quite a bit larger in diameter? No?

The ones I've used have always been about that diameter, but much shorter in length with a bowl. This is definitely not your typical steam roller.

definitely looks like a steamroller to me, but it's a dammmm long one @ that.
if both ends are open, then it's a steam roller, it looks like you might need 2 people to use it, possibly 3 people if you pack the 'bowl' part with just weed instead of a lit joint or blunt. Someone would have to light it, and someone would have to carb it, and you would have to inhale.

It's a one person device.
There is no bowl. The hole is specifically sized for a joint.
Both ends are open.
At one time I had a much smaller one with two 1" legs. ad. Yup, had. Let someone use it, when I shouldn't have.
The only reason this one has been around for 33 years is I don't use it often, keep it in a case and there are only a very few who have touched it.

usually the other end is supposed to be used as a carb.
i don't see how it can be a one person device if the size is the length of a bed.

Yeah, i once invested around $1k in this one 4-chamber glass bubbler.
It was some insane glass. I was young, stupid, drunk and high, and had like
5 people over to show it off too. That fucking thing broke in less than a week. 
I don't invest in awesome glass anymore, since they eventually will break.
I've had a couple glass spoons just break because I smoked out of them too much.

The far end is a carb.
It is not the length of a bed. The picture is taken on a three cushion couch. The first picture shows it on a single cushion. As my initial posts shows, it is 24" (inches) long.

oh man thats a pretty cool piece passing that around mus be fun. prob pretty rare to have survived that long. I bet u could have a blower replicate that for not much money and in no time.
