alright, i got the computer and internet for the night so ill post some pics as promised. this is just around the house(up country Maui(Haleakala side)) so i dont have any pics really of the gorgeous waters, but believe me, theyre GORGEOUS!

ill just add to this thread as i take pics.

and forgive me mama Hawaii for my poor photography skills, they dont do you justice at all.


Heres just a few from a place called Bamboo Forest

this place is literally mountains and square miles of bamboo. hundreds of feet tall.


theres some waterfalls in the middle of it that ppl swim and jump off of, but we hiked the wrong way and found this hoge hole

you visit out here much? i was actually going to go camping over on oahu later this month, but thats already here and i cant swing it. me and some other shroomerites are gonna go, so maybe we can plan it around that time

shes really kickin ass around here.

shes not affraid to get dirty from head to toe. ive explained to her nothin good comes easily and were gonna have to work hard to make this "home" and shes by my side. i cant wait to post b4 and afters of the house, and land surrounding. its unreal. when we moved in, the plants from the jungle were taking over the house. a few years from now left alone it wouldnt swallowed the house...

I have visited Maui a few times as a younger lad, and have always had fond memories of it. :sun:

The native paddle sculpture was found at the Turtle Bay resort, the northernmost point of Oahu.
In fact, the vast majority of the pic's shown in my last post are from Oahu.

The Big Island was cool, didn't have a whole lot of time for it, only about three days.  Had the "original" Mai Tai at Don the Beachcombers, visited a small coffee farm, drove around the western part of the island, got in a small plane and took a tour of the volcanos.

The least impressive part of Hawai'i is probably Honolulu, just like any developed city.
The most impressive parts can be found off the beaten paths on any of the islands I'm sure.

(after he dicked 'em around and made them think he was a God)

i moved from the GC to here, and the difference in temp and water clarity is UNREAL!

Gulf is kinda dirty unless your up in the northern parts like Destin, FL

and i completely agree with you about Honolulu. i mean even tho its on a Hawaiian Island, when i flew into it, i couldnt wait to get to my Maui home.

its really cool to see the airial views, it seems sometimes ON the islands, you forget how beautiful everthing surrounding you is...

today on Maui i was driving on Kula ?highway towards Hana, and the view were AMAZING...let me show you! my picture doesnt NO JUSTICE!!!




i had a few pics that you could see Molokai, Lanai, Molokini, and the West Maui Mountains, but they were rather blurry, but in these you can see Lanai and Molokini(the little island)

That's one of the things I missed in Maui, the road to Hana. 

It was an all day affair, and having just graduated high school and with my ladyfriend of two years along for the trip...
we let the family cruise to Hana without us while we got the water-front condo all to ourselves for the entire day! 

I got lei'd in Hawai'i! :awesome:

My girl even smuggled a bowl or two's worth of the good green stuff in her contact lens case from the mainland. :tongue2:
