Which insecticide for new sprouts?
    #572919 - 07/18/11 12:55 AM (12 years, 8 months ago)

I have a couple of new sprouts that are a couple inches tall and have nice green leaf growth.

I want to keep this growth and already had a couple tiny leaves eaten.

What insecticide do you guys suggest that will deter most predators yet be safe for new sprouts?

Please give a name of a brand to make it easy for me to go get later today.

Thanks.

Neem oil is pretty good, I don-t know any brands though.

ok nice, is that pretty common stuff?  Do they sell it at Lowes or Home depot?

I assume this is totally safe for these kind of plants?  Does it rid all pests?

Sold at hydro shops. Yeah it's safe for those kind of plants. The stuff is made by Fox Farm and is made from organic sources.

I'm trying out this stuff  this yr.

Aza Max is made by GH. This is the first time I've used anything by them and i'm very pleased with the results. I applied it once @ 5ml per gallon. Put it in my garden sprayer and soaked the tops and undersides of my girls.  It worked very well...it did not completely resolve the issue, but the bugs were no longer a problem after one application. Another thing i really liked about this product is that it can be used as a soil drench as well.

This product is omri listed if that's of any interest to ya. It too can only be found at a hyrdo store or on line. :gethigh:
