While reading about using rockwool (which I'm using,) I've read that you should change your ph levels because the rockwool has a high ph. While in my local hydroponic shop, the guy who was running the place said I didn't. Can someone please clear this up for me. If I do need to change it, what should it be at. Thanks

It's wise to adjust the ph of rockwool before use. 5.8 to 6.2

isn't that the normal ph level that the plants should be at? I've been adjusting it to that level already. the way I've been reading it, it sounded like it needed to be different then the levels we normally adjust our water to.
