So which one gives you the best surface for reflection, mylar or white paint?
And if white paint is better, which is the best to use? Flat, semi-gloss or high gloss & why?

After doing a bit more reading, I see others are having problems with the mylar also reflecting the radiant heat, which is obviously an unwanted side effect.
So I guess white paint is the way to go? Would high gloss be the best since it will be the most reflective?

Ahh the Kills is a great idea when you double in that no mold or anything will grow from the humidity.
But why is flat white better than high gloss?
Wouldnt you get more reflection from high gloss?
Is Kills Premium flat or high gloss?

Kills is flat.
High gloss gives hot spots that can burn your plants.

Gloss absorbs some light, that's what gives it that shiny appearance.
Flat is the best choice.

behr makes an awesome flat white, it's barn and fence paint. you can pick it up at the local home depot for 16 bucks a gallon. kills is gonna run alot more than that.
