Begotten (movie)
    #546954 -

Anyone ever watched it?

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0101420/

I warn anyone planning to check it out - its pretty graphic and intense. Its not so much scary, but I'd describe it as haunting. I watched it one morning for something to do. Its disturbing in a lot of ways, but I wasn't ever "scared" or disgusted to the point of looking away. I watched it for what it was, and thought about it after.

However, scenes from the movie kept creeping back into my head, and I'd say it left me kinda fucked up for a few days actually. I'm not sure I want to watch it again, although part of me really wants to.

If you can't appreciate "artsy" stuff, this probably isn't the movie for you. Its pretty out there. And, I don't think theres any dialogue throughout.

The whole thing is on youtube.

Of course it's happening inside your head.
Why should that mean it isn't real?

plot summary: God disembowels himself with a straight razor. The spirit-like Mother Earth emerges, venturing into a bleak, barren landscape. Twitching and cowering, the Son Of Earth is set upon by faceless cannibals.

wtf, I'ma hafta look into this after work today
