 Pot frozen until summer

Alright so i got a guy in humboldt who says that he froze his pot from harvest until now. i had it, and it was dank, socal club quality i wish i could show u. anyways. My question is, does pot loose potency when frozen, and how long can it remain frozen?

i've always heard that freezing bud preserves the potency. while heat dissolves thc content.
i'm just drunk and talking out of my ass, so don't mind me.

mitch hedberg has got to be one of the most innovative (but short lived) comedians we've seen in a while. poor guy, just couldn't lay off the drugs.

actually it's the unfreezing process that damages it. You shouldn't freeze your bud unless you just plan to make hash with it. It's better to store it in a glass jar in a cool dark place.

freezing is a good way to store anything, as long as there is no excess moisture in it.
if it's still too wet, and this is very evident if you've ever to tried to freeze fresh mushrooms, you will get mush upon thawing. this is because, as we all should know, water expands as it turns to ice. when ice begins to form inside individual cells, it becomes larger than the original water within the cell, growing until *POP* the cell bursts like a water balloon. upon thawing, there is no cellular structure to keep any sort of shape and you get icky stuff.
it's also the reason we can't yet bring back cryogenically frozen bodies.
