like venom that is poured
into a hollow idea
the hate grows like a chia
pet that you can't trim
as the cup spills off the rim
so drop your liquid sword
and unplug the cord
as the sword dissolves
into the ocean, all is solved

So I chose to grow weed
to support my needs
For the shady fellas feed
on all our money
And what a beauty to behold
the aroma of nature and thriving life
so many flowers green, purple, gold
what a simple remedy for all the strife
From seed to teen, I like what I see
from sun to dark, the pistols free
tender, love, and care for the thc
So many flowers from her to me
next: sailing [anywhere]

I sail on the windy waters of mind
through storms and sun I try to find
why I'm here and what it all means
the answers that lie in between
the subconscious and awareness
and enter the waters fearless
so as sail the ocean of thought and land
I try to make my trip more fun and less bland
so get on this ship and ride with me
from the shore or perception to the endless sea

Sorry to bump and not have a poem to continue the game
but I had to share this poem I just found...

With fractal trees and fractal hair
And fractal breeze in fractal air
Since Mandelbrot got fractal fame
And thought he’d play the chaos game
And give the world a fractal flame
Why, math has never been the same!
So if you think as Mandel thought
And wonder ‘bout the which of what
Remember our dear Mandel’s set
You’ll never know what you might get!

Let's raise this thread from the dead. If you write poetry you can post it here. Doesn't have to be any particular subject.
I just wrote this:
I was born into this world from the womb of Christ herself,
Into this place some call heaven and some call hell,
But I’m not here to gain wealth, I just want to meet myself
Have some fun and give them hell- a hug, a laugh, a thought or yell
On the coldest nights when all I do is sit here alone
When worry grows my algid skin will peel off to bones
There grows a warmth in my heart that takes away the fear
A heat that holds out hope to find someone to hold dear
But I’ll take it easy and watch from afar, find somewhere
to put my feet up, but I won’t go very far
I’ll wear a smile and think for a tad
Watching grass grow ain’t too bad
