 Ever get paranoid?

I usually smoke in my garage which has a very musty, woody, mildewy, smell to it so I figure that covers the smell of burnin' herb. Sometimes I'll spray some air freshener in there before I start smokin' but I haven't lately. The other day I decided to toke up in the middle of the day. An hour after I was having some positive vibrations I get an unexpected knock on the door. I very nearly shit myself. First thought Cops, second thought angry neighbors. Never really occurred to me that it could have been a Jehova's Witness or some asshole sellin shit door to door but I'd be damned if I was answering that fuckin door.
I'm not usually paranoid(at least not when I get high) unless I'm given a reason to get scared like for instance persistent knocks on my door and sirens going off in the distance.

Yeah. I get paranoid a lot. Only when I'm at home or in my car though.
If I go for a walk to smoke, I don't give a fuck. I know most areas around here better than any cops. And if someone does catch me, odds are its not going to be a cop. By the time they call the cops (if they do) my spliff is gone.

I get paranoid sometimes but it's always weird shit like maybe my teeth are rotten and I'm just now realizing it or some shit like that. I don't answer my door in this fucking ghetto. That settles that. Like the other person said I never get paranoid walking around. Even through bad neighborhoods.

I haven't gotten paranoid since I first started smoking. Weed has a chemical called "fuck it", and it seems to work pretty well
My friend on the other hand gets ridiculously paranoid whenever he smokes. Can't smoke up anywhere new because the slightest sound and its like hes expecting a fuckin cop to jump out of the ground and throw the cuffs on him.

I've had episodes where I've been in shitty positions smoking (aka, first time driving around smoking the day after my ex girlfriend got arrested for possession) and I've been extremely paranoid.
I've also been in a lot of close calls.
I like to say "hey, theres some dude walking his dog coming up, hold off on the pipe for a sec" and sometimes I get "OH DUDE UR PARANOID STFU". Like, OK, the dude walking past us probably isn't going to say anything, but is it that much trouble to wait another second for your fucking hit? We're not junkies, we're potheads dude.

See that I understand and agree with. I have no problem with that.
Its when the person can't even smoke normally without worrying about stupid shit that gets me annoyed. Its like I understand your paranoid and freaking out right now, but keep it to yourself. Don't ruin my high just because you can't enjoy yours.

You and I are a lot alike. I'm a mistrustful and cautious person sober but when I'm high I get even worse. Of course none of this would be a problem if pot were legal.

So there's good reason to be paranoid when you have a miniature ecosystem in your home that the gov't considers a 'factory.' Especially being within 1,000 ft of a church or school. The mandatory min. sentence is not appealing. Sometimes I can't take the stress so I get rrrrrrrrrrrrrreally fucking baked and ask myself why I'm being such a pussy.
