I don't know but clearly I was too intoxicated when first reading the article to notice. No astronomer would give an estimate of, maybe next year. In fact they even credit him saying that it might happen by 2012 in the first article posted, when he never mentioned the year. News.

Shit like this is why I have no faith in the internet. HuffingtonPost is one of the top news sites on the internet, and they regularly post bullshit, its as bad as the media television.
At this point its hard for me to discern whether the TV news has started to imitate the internet, or the other way around.
