Its that way with anything on the radio nowadays. I am constantly putting shit down before I give it a decent listen. Like that Pharrell song Happy. Heard it way too much already, but I hated it at first and then sat down and listened to it and actually liked it. Got a Bill Withers feel to it.
Go back to Spirit in the Sky, Stone it fits.

You know, I imagine the majority of people dislike HIM quite a bit on here, who knows maybe not, but honestly, Razorblade Romance, Uneasy Listening, and Deep Sorrows and Shadows or some shit like that, were really good and solid albums.
Plus the singer did a really good job singing black no 1 in the roadrunner united concert.
HIM isn't bad at all, old Him at least, haven't heard anything new. Now CKY, , they were so awesome on their first 3 albums and Foreign Objects was a great band, closest you will get to Death since Chuck is dead. However now, I cant stand listening to their new shit. Take everything shitty about the song Close Yet Far and you've got all their recent albums.

Haha, so true I'm definitely no HIM fanboy by any means but that song in particular I really like. Reminds me of my youth  I only ever really liked this song from CKY:

That whole album is awesome. Its the best IMO. Infiltrate destroy rebuild was awesome too, but it had that "commercialized gloss" sound to it.
Plus, if you knew how to play any of their songs in high school (especially 96) everyone thought you were the beezknees.
