1 week old plants
    #509453 -

I have 5 plants that have been in pots for roughly 10 days. Theyre prob 5 inches tall and are falling over, except for one. The leaves look healthy but there are only two on each plant. Am i being anxious? I know i shouldnt have but i potted them in stagreen which has time release nutrients. Thanks. First time growing weed

Fill this out for best responses.

Quote:
Soil Growers:
1. Are you growing from seed or clones?
2. How old are your plants?
3. How tall are your plants?
4. What size containers are they planted in?
5. What is your soil mix?
6. How often do you water and what type of water do you use?
7. What is the pH of your water?
8. What kind of fertilizer do you use and what is its NPK ratio?
9. Do you foliar feed or spray your plants with anything?
10. What kind of lights do you use and how many watts combined? (HPS, MH, fluorescent, halogen, incandescent "plant lights")
11. How close are your lights to the plants?
12. What size is your grow space in square feet?
13. What is the temperature and humidity in your grow space?
14. What is the pH of the soil?
15. Have you noticed any insect activity in your grow space?
16. How much experience do you have growing?

I have no experience with time release ferts, and I've never heard of that type of soil, but someone else might.
It could be something as simple as not enough air circulating, overwatering, ect...  So fill that out and you should get a lot of good advice.  A picture would help as well but I understand if you don't feel comfortable doing that.

Just right off the bat, its sounds like they are stretching and they are collapsing under their own weight.  If you don't have a fan on them, you should get one.  You just want to create a breeze in your grow area.  This will mimic the wind of nature and strengthen your stems.

soil is sta-green which you get from lowes. mixed in healthy amount of perlite and peatmoss

sitting next to the window for now
the ph meter i have is the only one available at lowes so dont know how accurate it is

You say they're 5 inches tall? with 5 days into it and 2 leaves? Seems like you have a lot of stretching going on and not enough light hitting them.. They also need air flow to create their energy

thanks for the response, im going to get them under my hps tomorrow. thought there would be plenty of sunlight coming through the window since theyre sitting right next to it. going to use a fan.

You might lose these anyway.  5 inches is a ton of stretch if they only have the cotyledons.  I would be very careful with any wind you subject them to now, since they are probably weak and prone to breaking.

If I were you I would start over with new seed.

I am not a cannabis grower.  I find the cannabis growers to be the most open to experimenting and sharing out of all of the different botany groups I enjoy.  I frequently use the suggestions that I find to apply to own organic gardening and food production.

You can support them with some small stakes, so they don't break.
