I know with my experience with alcoholics (including myself) an ass whoopn just makes them more in denial, a hit to the gut of guilt and anger by you setting the example for how you're supposed to act especially since you're his son and younger would deffinately hit that soft spot I donno thats just what Im doin to my dad and there is deffinately resentment towards me but atleast our contact is more stable

that's the thing. we never have problems. usually 1 argument every year or two. odd. the thing i'm really mad about is that he said that shit in front of my grandma when it's not true. now she doesn't know if i'm a junkie or not. whatever me and him got goin on can be fixed, but that shit was fucked up to say in front of her.

im sure your grandma saw the fact he was being beligerant and exaggeratingy aka. drunk so I wouldnt worry bout it 2 much and if there's any doubts just talk to her and tell her none of that shit was true and you know about the needle and the damage it does

Oh no, she knows I did an oxy. He made sure she knew that. She isn't that worried about it. I explained the situation, ever so gently :lol But yeah, she knows that. Oh well, we talked about it before everything was over, she isn't that mad. He could've definitely kept that fact away from her though, especially since he was wasted talking about getting coke n shit.
