I was wondering about the Lemon tek and psilocybin mushrooms.
Did early man and shamans use lemons or some sort of acidic alternative when consuming mushrooms to intensify/speed up the experience?
Or is this something that is relatively recent and is part of the western culture's nasty habit of isolating and intensifying our drugs?
Any ideas? Any sources to back either claim up?

I HIGHLY doubt that 'early man and shamans'
were trying to get high as fast as they could.
It was a religious experience for them.
I am 100% sure that the lemon tek is a new thing
