That right there is Almond milk. 
It would probably be more efficient if you steeped it in a saucepan on low for a little while.
micro waves heat unevenly and could get "hot spots" very quick, and being able to control the temp easier and slowly warm it and mix it easily in a pan for proper absorption of the goodies would be better, giving it time to decarboxylate and bind to the fat, seeing as how that Almond milk only has 2.5gs of fat per cup and butter/oil normally has like 15gs per tablespoon depending...
The slow way would seem best for this.

That is almond milk and you should all feel ashamed for jumping on the bandwagon so quickly. Soymilk is completely different.
Almond milk (which youz can make yourzelvez) is awesome and nutritious.

Milk I don't think is going to be fatty enough. You probably will get some effect but you won't be happy.
If you wanted to do that.........I would first extract it to butter or a little oil and make some hot cocoa.................
or, get some nutella and make some fire crackers
or, flaming dragon with alcohol..........
I know you probably know some of those but I just don't think milk is going to be near fatty enough....Water definitely wont.

Yeah there are better/ easier recipes out there, why do you have to use milk?
