They are much much cheaper at other places. 50 bucks for a cfl is ridiculous, I dont care if it sucks cock and gets rid of odor, 50 is entirely too much.

From the reviews the light does get rid of odor, but I would not say they are worth 50 bucks. For 50 bucks you could make or buy a cheap scrubber. I just bought a fresh2 cfl for 10 bucks the other day. Should be here soon. Im not going to use it for complete control or anything, just gonna put it in a tent to see what it does to the smell.
Right now I cant smell much outside the tent but when I open it I can smell it. So Im wondering if it will cut the smell down a bit inside there.

I bought two for 30 bucks. Have one by the front door and one by the cat litter box which is just outside my grow closet. They work but I still use a carbon filter. Also, the negative ions they generate, create a positive growing environment for your plants. They will effect the odor of your bud late in flowering if placed inside grow spaces.

I don't think that you will get less potent bud, but the smell and maybe taste might be effected. One bulb inside may not even be that big of a deal. I will try it this year and post the results or at least my opinions. Just want to get a rotation going first.
