I'm in between the Pink Floyd generation and the Sublime generation. They're both similar bands to me, not in sound, but because everyone who is stoned listens to them as a given. When you're talking stoners 18-25 years of age or younger, EVERY single one of them listens to Sublime. Their popularity is kind of mind-blowing to me actually. I can pretty much guarantee that if I meet someone in that age range and they smoke pot, then they are fans of Sublime. The same can be said of Pink Floyd and 40+ year old stoners. Very interesting indeed. I wonder if I'll ever find the magic.
