I've never tried it, they don't make half the flavors any more but will occasionally bring them back for a limited time.
but Fruit Brute was discontinued by 1983 and replaced in 1987 with Yummy Mummy so I'd guess it's fruit flavored (like Trix, Fruit Loops or Fruity Pebbles)

If cereal actually came in those flavors I don't think I'd be able to touch them unless incredibly stoned.
Or if I replaced the milk with beer. That might do the trick.
