haha, yeah those 941s are fucking enormous. I don't think ive ever been face to face with one tho. just seen pictures. I remember a picture of hippiechic from the shroomery sitting inside of one. Im pretty sure the 941 wouldn't fit on my stovetop.

41 quarts, that's huge. I just picked up a 23 quart presto pressure cooker for $70. Parts are missing and there's a dent in the lid. I was in a hurry and didn't inspect it.

The only reason I got the 941 is because a friend was willing to sell it to me for 180.
I will go back to the 23 qt. Presto when I feel like getting back into cultivation. Quality product and a good price

$450 retail for the 941? That is a beast. The 23 quart Presto looks huge on my small stove.
Do you know where random pressure cooker parts can be had? I'm missing a pressure release valve for my 23 qt Presto.

yeah .. go to the presto sight .. u can buy all the pieces there. mine fell off my shelf and bust the pressure gauge.. it was easy to fix./

Doh, I would have thought of that eventually. Just got this thing. It looks like I overpaid too, since I found an invoice that he paid $70 with shipping a year ago then busted it up and pawned it onto me. God damn you kijiji, weed, and lingering interests!

I don't know about a full log, I'm pretty bad at mushrooms, I usually only get 1 flush, I got 2 once, but barely. I'll definitely post some pics up though.

450 is for a brand new one. I got mine used but it was still in great condition. I resold it for the same price that I bought it for.

I have 7 jars, I have PE spores and also PESA, I was thinking about doing a mixed tub, any of you ever attempted this?

Alright, good to know. I wasn't set on doing it, just a thought that passed through my head. I had heard the PE yields like shit anyway, thought that might fill in the gaps.
Guess I'll just do a tub of the PESA first. I wanna be trippin' for the holiday season and I'm runnin outa time quickly.

I got a lot from PESA in a small space. Loved em
and with the shape of the caps and how much spores they drop it was easy as hell to get dark purple prints.

PESA will probably yield more...on average it does anyway, but the PE in my opinion and I think there is some debate among others that its more potent...So its somewhat of a trade off. I'm going some PE and Lipa Yai..My two favorites.

Cube strains are all fairly generic, especially when you do a multispore inoculation. Now if he were to get an isolate of a potent strain, then maybe. But in terms of growing cubes. They are all about the same. Some of have slight physical differences but that is about it.

I use to do the spores for Ralphsters so I had thousands of prints around. Scraping a little piece of print into a syringe was a pain in the ass was much easier to just put a print per syringe.
Plus with all the spores they were fast as hell

So, if you don't mind my asking...is it possible to knock up a 1 pound spawn bag with multispore? Or is LC 100% necessary for that amount?
Not gonna bother again with growing for a while, but, if I do, I'm going to just buy a pre-sterilized bag and syringe. My last few attempts took all my enthusiasm right out of me. I had about 5-6 real successful ones, and then the rest just fucked up and I gave up.

fuck pre sterilized bags...and you can use multispore provided that your grain moisture content is good and you've sterilized it properly...obviously the best option is the latter.

Yeah, but its only $8 on ebay, so when I'm feeling up for a new project I'll prolly get one of those. Fruit invitro, fuck it. Even if I only get an 8th (I know I'll get more) its already worth the money I spent on the bag and the spores.

You made them yourself...I've ordered probably half a dozen or more from different suppliers each time and they all went bad. I've made my own and had no problems.
