Her breeder suggested 7-8 weeks, but I'm entering week 10 now...trichs just starting to do what they should.
My first experience with topping, combined it with the LST I've used...sorta makes a SCROG without the screen  Kind of a "aw fuck it" thing...but I'm really happy with how it turned out.
Unfortunately all I had was some $3 bag of dirt from Walmart rather than my wonderful Ocean Forest...but, I can't complain much with these results 
This is a huge accomplishment for me haha. I've come pretty far from my first single-cola 12/12 from bagseed plant to this. Feels good man.
Anywaaaaaaaay, I've heard of leaving the plant in the dark for a few days at the end of its life cycle. Some kind of voodoo magic, I don't really remember. Since shes got 2 days left, I'm thinking of giving it a try.
What do I have to lose? Is there really THAT MUCH production done in the last 2 days of a plants life in 24 combined hours of light?
Edit: yes, they are Pokemon cutrains.  tl;dr - started out as an emergency curtain situation, turned into a big joke.

Hey bro from the looks of it you have 2 to 3 weeks left to go on those they arent looking like there near the finish line yet. Someone else please chime in . Also a macro or just a better close shot would help. But def looking immature at this point. Dont go by the weeks they give you Ive had 8 week plants go 13 weeks before ...Dont get anxious and harvest before they are ready all the hairs are still awful white looking you should consider flushing your plants a few times also if you havent already. You still have a lot of green foliage which tells me the plants havent used all teh nutrients youve gave them . I see very little eveidence of yellowing leaves etc showing there are near the end of thir growth.

I pull them off when they get yellowed. And the hairs look real white because you can't see the other colors, too dark. My camera is a piece of shit 
I've been checking the trichs under my loupe, I've got about 25% amber, and thats when I always pull them. I don't like couch locky stuff much.

its all a personal choice . But you asked for an opinion and im just staing they are not ready they need few more weeks ..Good luck make sure to cure . 4 weeks is minimum for me sems to work the best

If the trichs are like your saying, it would be time to harvest in my opinion.
In all honesty man there is nothing to the "48 hours of dark/48 hours of light" myths. They don't do a damn thing. Feel free to try em, but I think just flushing them and letting them do their thing is the best way to go.
