Well the plants tend to die after bud removal. There's a method in which you can revert them back in veg but it would require placing them back into a veg light cycle, which would be impossible outdoors.

I've seen (in a magazine) some greenhouse grows in Mexico where they use a single light bulb over each plant to manipulate the light cycle and keep them in a vegetative state early in the year.
It may be possible in a large 20' greenhouse.

A lot of people start them vegging indoors around January and move them into an outdoor plot when the time is right. That's usually how they get them that big.
