If you guys are constantly having headaches I'd recommend consuming less salt.
Too much salt intake causes your cells to retain too much water.
As your cells swell your blood pressure increases, obviously, because your cells are taking up more space this leaves less space for blood flow.
Salt is one of the main causes for chronic headaches. Plus, after time you have a greater risk for heart disease(because it has to work harder), and stroke(caused by high blood pressure through your brain).
That would be my diagnosis anyways, take it or leave it heheheh.
Also, remember to wash your hands before you eat, easiest way to fight illness.

I have a pretty normal salt intake, a great diet, an extremely healthy heart, perfect blood pressure and a circulatory system consisting of snake sized veins. (as shown here) 
You are right that salt increases BP though.

I used to have headaches all the time so I'd use Ibuprofen like crazy.
I ended up learning you can actually build up a dependency to it meaning if you don't take your Ibuprofen for an extended period you actually get headaches because of that.
I'm not actually sure the reason but long story short I quit Ibuprofen cold turkey and had a week long headache.
I also tend to get headaches if I take too many metabolism boosters/caffeine.
Sounds to me like you just had some kind of fluke. Sometimes if you work out so hard your immune system can't handle the load and fight off normal stuff that usually doesn't phase you.
Fiber is also a good thing to eat just to keep your good micro-biota more populated than the bad.
I'm bored out of my mind so I'm just blabbing shit.
I'm sure you already know everything I've stated.

Ahh makes perfect sense. I drank 2 red bulls and then basically ran the frisbee golf course up and down.
