 Love thy neighbor

Noticed that the house behind mine to the right cut down a huge tree in the corner we share, so now I can see their house and they can see mine, poked my head over to see they had some play equipment and such, and the reason they cut down the tree is to build a shed.
Anyway, so I was weeding and doing some stuff in my garden, when I moved my old trampoline to get to some plants, I realized I hated having that big bulking thing in my backyard not getting used. So I poked my head back over the fence to see my neighbor working on the new shed, and asked him if he wanted it, before he said yes his two year old came running out of the shed screaming "YES YES YES YES YES!" so he laughed and said yes.
He came round with his ute and we put it on the back, then he gave me two free tickets to this gig at one of my favorite venues in the city for the weekend
I love Australia, we have a real "be mates with your neighbor" thing goin on down here, I didn't expect anything back in return for the trampoline, just thought his daughter might like it, but I never could turn down free tickets

two neighbors (one on each side) just cut down some trees and now more neighbors can look into my back yard weed patch. shits nerve wrecking, im gonna start camping out back there with my dog starting tonight

Thing that sucks is you see movies all the time where they have the welcoming wagon and everyone's polite and helps each other out... but like Ice T once said "shit ain't like that!".
Truth is most neighbors in America at least are selfish assholes that wouldn't spare a drop of piss if you were on fire.

My neighbor is my grandmother
And thats really the only neighbor I have. Everyone else is gone 8 months out of the year.
