I haven't watched an episode yet, but I've seen enough previews to not understand why this is History's new favorite show...  lolz a bunch of inbreds wrastlin gators.

At what point was all the educational aspects of television drained from the programming?  I mean the discovery channel, TLC, history, nat geo, they all run a bunch of bullshit these days.

 I've seen a lot more intellectually devoid show than this one even.

These guys scratch out a living in the swamp, catching gators for their meat and hide. It's the harvest of natural resources like this that gave this country its value. Its a threatened way of life these days, and even though it seems barbaric to some, this is a historical harvest that dates back to before any of us were a glint in someones eyes.

TLC is horrible... what a joke that name is.
Theres still some quality public television out there. IDK about the states though.

I watched an episode or two last night around 2-3am when nothing else was on.

Wouldnt watch it again, unless nothing else was on.

I did learn a lot about gator hunting though

They got gators on my family's property out in East Texas. lots of em. I need to get on this leather business.

Back when I was still paying my cable bill, I was watching Science channels "How it's made"... That show is the tits.
