looking for some responses here on what people have to say about using 26000 cfl lumens in the 2600k spectrum vs 16000 hps lumens ,what would be better for flowering ? im interested to hear the pros and cons and what people think !!?
Now that I reread that It's my understanding that kelvin rating isn't very useful for determining PUR (Photosynthetically Useful Radiation) since it's essentially an average of the emitted wavelengths spectrum. So it would be difficult to predict the efficiency of the CFLs in your example.
I have read some arguments that the decrease in heat when using flouros can increase quality (by decreasing heat damage) but I'm not really convinced that a live bud will reach the temperature where a significant amount of actives will be destroyed.
