Went way down south for a music festival last week  part road trip, part plane ride, and part speedboat ride.
Met some really cool members from a ska band that smoked me out the last two days I was there. We had some good conversations and ended up jamming together for a while.
They were the only other people I ran into there who spoke English as well as Portuguese and I found out they don't live too far from me and play shows in my area occasionally.
Many fun times were had this past weekend  kinda sad it's over.

Uh, I'm so hungover. Had to go out to dinner yesterday for a birthday immediately after work, but forgot I had to cover a shift today. I thought we were just going to a restaurant, having dinner then heading to the pub for a bit, but some asshole in the group knew the owner of the place so instead of me being able to order what I want I had to endure a buffet of all the most expensive bullshit nibbles this place had to offer, I was starving and these things were a dot on the plate and 40mins in between courses, so of course I just keep ordering beers while we wait and since I don't drink too much I ended up fucking wasted before the main meal got there.
After dinner we went to a pub down the road and this whole ordeal happened with some asshole in the group who is in catering expecting a near bikey bar to have top notch European spirits and freshly squeezed orange juice? he got kicked out quick smart before he got shot 
$89 doller cab ride later I ended up crashed at a friends place completely forgetting I had work the next day, ended up rushing in 30mins late in the clothes I went out in, reeking of beer and cigarettes, hint of vomit from my brief stint throwing up at the train station on the way there.
Hell of a day made much better by my bong when I got home 
And my new one should be here next week!

got a job interview today. Its gonna be sweet if I get it. I get to go to the DMV/court house after hours when everyone is gone and clean it from like 4-8 a few times a week.
Thats so perfect for me. I'll make some money and still be able to fuck around as much as I want. I'm rarely hungover until 4 PM so this is gonna work.
The celebration will be big if I get it.

But yah dude, I'm pretty excited to ingest some cactus again. Been over two years since mesc, and over a year since any trip. The setting is in a huge nice house that my friend is watching for 20 days.
