So if we were to aim that telescope at say, a near by planet.
What kind of resolution would we be talking about.
One of my friends who like conspiracy theories/2012 stuff got me really interested in sun activity (plus that CME a month or so ago).
I don't really beleive the world will end, but people are saying we are in store for some serious activity going on with the sun.
At least we will have time to say "Oh shit" before we die if we get killed by the sun.

we are possibly in store for solar activity it just has little to do with 2012. I posted a nasa article in another thread about.

Yeah they had two separate predictions, one that said between 2010-2011 it could happen. The other pushed the date further back to 2012.
