Me and my friend both hit this one kicker, and it was much cooler this day and we both overshot the landing by about 50-70 feet. I destroyed both my heels, it was the first time I've ever crashed so hard that I broke right out of my bindings...

Me too, between undershooting and overshooting, it's the most critical aspect of hitting kickers. There's no way to test the waters besides just hitting it and then adjusting from there. It's usually the first hit that fucks you.

Yeahi suck at judging how fasti need to go. Thats why I pretty much stopped hitting kickers, one time I broke my arm on the first hit of the day, and it was the first hit on a brand new board, just doesnt isnt worth fucking up your season from one hit to me. Now I'm more into hitting rails.

Yeah I completely obliterated my collar bone overshooting a kicker doing a bs 540. Landed on my shoulder from about 15 feet up.
I usually would get hurt right away in the day. I tore my rotater cuff first run 2 years ago, then got my brand new board stolen while I was resting up.
