I would recommend doing something with that 'i'.  it's hard to tell that's a part of his name, the way its solid black like that.

I tried to hollow out the center and extend the gradient but it made the i even harder to see.

gifs can only handle solid transparency :sad:
as you can see...



instead of fading into transparency it fades into the background color (in this case white)
then when the gradient is complete it goes transparent

I think you can do better.  Try again.  The lure there doesn't mesh well, aesthetically, with the background.  I find fractallifes sig to be excellent.  I love the incorporation of the alex grey art.  that's a pretty sig.

:lol: oh i didn't mean to imply i could do any better.  just giving you my honest opinion on the looks of it.  just a picture with the words turned 45 degrees with a shadow effect, ya that's pretty simple.  Photoshop has soooooo much more depth to it than something like that.  Those effects could be done in ms paint though.

3 pictures actually layered over top of each other, drop shadow and embossing, and a texture overlay. + a lot of other steps. It might look easy but it's more than you mentioned lol.

I like that sig a lot better than the others you did Mr. Kite.  I LOVE dali's work though.  I actually have a persistence of memory clock, that looks like it's melting off the shelf.  Here's a stock pic of it...
