 Lots of yellow leaves

My plants are outdoors in pots. They've been on a 12/12 light schedule for 20 days now (I move them indoors at night).
A lot of posts here say that yellowing leaves are a sign that harvest is near, but three weeks of flowering is way too soon, right?
Many of the large fan leaves have dropped off. There was a lot of small new growth all along the stems, but even many of those small leaves are yellowing and dying.
I did notice a lot of leafhoppers on the plants a few weeks ago, but I haven't seen any since I began to induce flowering. I do catch the occasional beetle on them, but I've only seen one or two leaves with any chunks taken out.

Looks alright, they are just a little short on nutrients is all. Have you been feeding or what? They could use a little something, but I wouldn't stress over it, the plants reserves are just being diverted to the tops because there is no more to uptake from the medium. This naturally happens in flowering but usually in the last 2 weeks, yours is doing it early due to lack of food. Also, pull all the leaves off that come off with a light tug. All of those yellow leaves should go, don't worry about it the plant is supposed to do this.

I agree more than likely a nutrient deficiency problem, outdoors the plants in pots or ground are able to evaporate the moisture in the soil quicker, there for you need to use a bit extra outdoors than you would indoors, and maybe water a little more frequently.
Hope this helps.
BTW its a nice technique you have of 12/12 by taking them indoors at night, however as the natural sun cycle outdoors is in veg "format" the light is not suitable for flower this maybe another factor in your yellowing.
Also check if the soil is over or under watered this can also be a factor.
